Your tasks:

  • Contributing to the Actuarial function of Vienna Insurance Group in the fulfillment of its tasks
  • Supporting VIG insurance companies in regulatory actuarial tasks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive actuarial insights and support for operations
  • Analyzing and interpreting insurance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting the development of technical provisions
  • Establishing technical provisions and capital requirements under Solvency II

  • Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3.436,86 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37.5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant . It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.

Your Profile

  • University degree in mathematics or similar
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in life or non-life insurance mathematics
  • Good understanding of Solvency II regulations and basic knowledge of IFRS standards
  • Advanced Excel skills, experience with Prophet or ResQ is an advantage
  • Structured, independent, and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Strong communication abilities and pleasure of collaborating in an international team
  • Very good English skills (spoken and written), good command of German is an advantage
